With an efficiency of 99%, Procter has confirmed its interest in Otor technology by having Otor's japanese licensee, N.T.P. (Nippon Tokan Package), install a third Otor Systems machine in its Takasaki plant.
The FCO 140 is designed to erect an Otor 8 case around a mandrel. The Otor 8 has a centring lug and perforated pull tables for rapid shelf display and can be erected on the FCO 140 at a rate of 20 cases/min. The non load-bearing products are mainly liquid laundry detergent refills in Doypacks for Ariel, Bonux, Lenor, Febreze and Monogen.
The Otor 8 display packaging, which replaces a 3-piece case (case + 2 U-shapped divider cut-outs) offers weight saving and better compressive strenght for an overall lower cost. When Otor 8 is used as an end display, its cut-off sides mean that the case can be stacked without risk of collapse, while providing easy access to products.
The visual attractiveness is also reinforced by a larger printing surface.
